 How can apply for my children at Al Bayan Modern School?

You can fill out the application online or on school campus. Then you should visit the school to set a test date.

 

Entry requirements for Pre-K and KG (Arabic and Language sections):

KG1: Children should be at least 3.5 years and should not be more than six years old.

KG2: Children should be at least 4.5 years and should not be more than six years old.

Original electronic birth certificate

Eight personal photographs (4x6) with the student’s name clearly written on the back

Students with chronic diseases need to provide a health certificate from a doctor

Recent gas, light or telephone bill

A photocopy of the mother’s and father’s identification card

What are the school fees?

Can I move my daughter to Al Bayan Modern School after the school year starts?

Yes, but her acceptance depends on the availability of places and the results of the placement test.

 

Does Al Bayan Modern School accept students with special needs?

Yes, but their acceptance depends on the results of the placement test and the availability of space for special cases. The school accept students with special needs in proportion to the percentage found in the Egyptian society (almost 5%). The parent is responsible for providing an assistant, if requested by the school.   

 

What are the yearly vacations?

The yearly vacations are determined by the Ministry of Education. Students and parents will be notified once they are set. They will also be posted on the school website.

 

What should I do if my child is absent?

You should send a note to school explaining the reason for absence. If the student is absent more than one day, the parent should communicate with the teachers to know what has been taught during this period. Students should read the lessons and work on the homework, also they should prepare any questions for the teacher.

 

How can I contact my son’s teacher?

You can contact the teachers through the email found on the school website. Also, you can write them a note in the channel book.

 

What should I do if my son is suffering from a contagious sickness?

Your son should stay at home, and should come back only when the doctor allows him to. The parent should bring a note to school specifying the type of sickness and the time period that the student should stay at home. In this situation, the teacher informs the parent of the lessons that will be taught during this period. The student can contact the teacher through emails if he has any questions.

 

What are the school day hours?

The students should be in school at 7:45 a.m. and they should leave school no later than 2:30 p.m..

We advise parents to pick their children up themselves, or to book them a seat in the school bus. But if parents decide that their children will leave the school on their own, they should send a note informing the school of this; in this case the students are the responsibility of their parents, not the school, as soon as they leave the school campus.  

 

How do I reserve a place for my child for the new school year?

Each student is required to book a place for the new school year in May by paying 10% of the fees for the new year. This amount is deducted from the school fees for the coming year. If students are not registered, their places are opened for new applicants.

 

How can I apply to work at Al Bayan Modern School?

Kindly fill out the online application. Applications will be reviewed, and only applicants whose CV’s passed the first evaluation phase will be contacted. Applicants should come in for the set interview, which is the second evaluation phase.
